Bohuslän Flag
- Length:
Bohuslän flags of the highest quality
hand-sewn in Europe from 160 g/m² marine polyester. The fabric is woven and regularly tested for colorfastness and tensile strength by the textile manufacturer.
The flags are appliqué-sewn — the colored panels are sewn together rather than printed — giving a more exclusive and traditional appearance. All our flags are
appliqué-sewn unless otherwise stated when selecting size.
Suitable for flagpoles, wall-mounted flagpoles, boats and caravans.
High UV resistance — withstands salt and rain.

The Bohuslän cross flag has existed since 1996 — a red cross on a background where the upper fields are light blue and the lower fields are dark blue. The colours symbolise the sky (light blue), the sea (dark blue) and the granite (red cross).
The colours also reflect Bohuslän's history: the province belonged to Norway until 1658, represented in the Norwegian and Swedish symbolism of the flag's colours.
